I've been vegan for many years, and I have tried many different protein drinks. I appreciate how simple the ingredients are in this protein powder, just Pea Protein, Organic Coconut Sugar, Organic Cocoa Powder,and Organic Oat Milk Powder. The color isn't as dark as some chocolate protein drinks, which makes sense since organic cocoa powder is only the third ingredient. The coconut sugar gives it a nice mild sweetness. The pea protein has a certain blandness that makes it easy to mix this powder into other recipes. For example, I like to mix it with peanut butter for a treat. The texture is a little chalky, as expected from the pea protein, but not as chalky as other pea protein based drinks I've tried. It has a surprisingly high amount of protein, 18 g per serving. Many similar vegan protein powders I've tried have more like 12 grams per serving. The price seems a little high for only 12.35 ounces, but the quality is good, so it might have good value for the right person.
